The Board of Directors of Galp Energia, SGPS, S.A. has decided today to designate the following directors until the term of the current mandate for the three year period 2012-2014:
i) Mrs. Raquel Rute da Costa David Vunge for the office of non-executive member of the Board, replacing Mr. Baptista Sumbe. Mrs. Raquel Vunge has a relevant experience in the oil sector, currently developing her activity in Sonangol, where she has been leading corporate areas and performing functions as a director.
ii) Mr. Thore E. Kristiansen for the office of executive member of the Board, replacing Mr. Stephen Whyte, to be in charge of the exploration and production area. Mr. Thore E. Kristiansen has more than 25 years of diversified experience in the Oil & Gas sector, leading corporate areas, upstream and downstream businesses in Europe, Africa and South America.
