We search for oil and natural gas on a global scale. When we identify a promising location, we study ways to minimise the environmental impact. The carbon intensity of our projects is significantly lower than the industry average.

Crude oil is made up of different types of hydrocarbons. Depending on their characteristics, such as volatility or boiling temperature, we separate them through refining. We produce various high-quality products. We are focused on transforming and decarbonising the Sines refinery, the only one in operation in Portugal and one of the largest on the Iberian Peninsula.

We are one of the main importers of natural gas in Portugal. We supply, trade, and ship electricity, biofuels, oil and environmental products.
