Galp's Sines Refinery Receives Reactors for Advanced Biofuels Production - <p>· The new SAF – Sustainable Aviation Fuel and biodiesel unit is one of Galp’s decarbonisation projects.</p> <p>· Weighing a combined 500 tons, the three reactors were unloaded this week<br /> at Terminal XXI of the Port of Sines and arrived yesterday at the Refinery.</p>
"Every Step Counts" donates another one million meals to the Emergency Food Network - • The fifth edition of the initiative, which donates one meal for every kilometre covered, reached its target this weekend, resulting in one million meals delivered. • Galp Foundation raises the total number of meals donated to the Emergency Food Network to 4.2 million since 2021, with strong community involvement.
Galp reduces electricity commercial tariff by 6% from the 1st of December - • New tariffs take effect on the 1st of December, ahead of the usual January price updates • Galp electricity customers also benefit from fuel discounts, with average monthly savings of 22€
Galp converts streetlight poles into electric vehicle chargers - • Following successful pilots already in operation in Cascais (Carcavelos) and Matosinhos, Galp plans to soon extend the initiative to other municipalities. • This solution leverages existing electrical infrastructure, accelerating and reducing the cost of expanding the public charging network.
Galp innovation contest awards five energy startups - • Startups AOTECH (France), Energiency (France), HyWatts (USA), Liquidstar (USA), and Volateq (Germany) win the third edition of the international Startup The Future contest. • The five startups participated in Web Summit 2024 and may develop a pilot project funded by Galp.
Galp renews partnership with FPF until 2030 - • A new sponsorship agreement for the National Team was signed this Tuesday at 'Cidade do Futebol'. • Galp now offers match tickets through the Mundo Galp app.
