Joint Venture for the natural gas liquefaction project in the pre-salt signs agreements for front end engineering development - Galp Energia and the other partners of the Joint Venture, that aims to build a Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) unit to commercialize the natural gas produced in the pre-salt layers, have signed today the contracts with the successful bidders of the tender for the development of the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) of the unit.

Natural gas liquefaction project in the pre-salt - Galp Energia has formalized the entrance into a joint venture, formed by Petrobras, BG Group and Repsol, to develop the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) of a Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) unit.

Incident at Sines refinery utilities unit - On 17 January at approximately 9 pm a fire occurred at the utilities unit of the Sines refinery. The fire was brought under control by the industrial complex’s emergency response team, with no personal injuries or environmental damages.
