Natural gas discovery at the Agulha exploration prospect in Mozambique - <p>Galp Energia, a partner in the consortium for the exploration of Area 4 in the Rovuma basin, offshore Mozambique, announces a new discovery at the Agulha exploration prospect. This discovery opens a new exploration play in the Southern part of Area 4.</p>
Murombe-1 exploration well results - <p>Galp Energia announces that the Murombe-1 exploration well, the second well in the 2013 exploration drilling campaign offshore Republic of Namibia, has been concluded and the results proved it to be a dry hole. The Murombe-1 well, located in the Petroleum Exploration License (PEL) 23 and spudded on June 1, was drilled in water depths of circa 1,390 meters and has reached a final depth of 5,729 meters. The well is currently being plugged and abandoned. </p>

The hydrocracker at Sines refinery begins operations - <p>Galp Energia informs that on 10 January, the hydrocracking complex installed at the Sines refinery, under the refineries upgrade project, began the commercial production stage. This event marks the conclusion of the upgrade project at the Sines and Matosinhos refineries, initiating a new era in Galp Energia’s refining business.</p>

Galp Energia enters into a farm-in agreement for offshore Morocco - <p>Galp Energia announces its has entered into a farm-in agreement with the Australian company, Tangiers Petroleum Limited (Tangiers), for the acquisition of a 50% stake in the Tarfaya Offshore area, comprising eight exploration permits, known as Tarfaya Offshore I to VIII, located on the Atlantic Margin, offshore Morocco.</p>
Galp Energia enters into a farm-in agreement in Namibia - <p>Galp Energia announces the signature of a farm-in agreement with the Brazilian company HRT Participações em Petróleo S.A., (HRT), for the acquisition of a 14% stake in three offshore Petroleum Exploration Licences (PEL) in Namibia, namely PEL 23 in the Walvis basin, and PEL 24 and PEL 28 in the Orange basin. After this agreement, HRT will retain the operatorship of these PEL.</p>
