Galp and the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) have renewed their partnership contract until 2030. The new agreement includes sponsorship of the National Team and the Under-21 National Team.
The new partnership contract was signed this Tuesday at 'Cidade do Futebol' with the attendance of Fernando Gomes, President of the FPF, João Diogo Silva, Executive Director of Galp and national coach, Roberto Martinez.
Fernando Gomes, President of the FPF, expressed his satisfaction with the agreement: "We are delighted to extend our partnership with Galp until 2030. Galp has been a key partner in promoting our national teams and we are excited about the new opportunities this collaboration will bring to our fans. This renewal will further strengthen the bond between the National Teams and the million supporters who cheer for Portugal’s colours".
João Diogo Silva also welcomed the continuity of the partnership: "This is a historic connection between two institutions and two brands that hold great significance for the Portuguese people. It’s an emotional bond because football and the National Team ignite the passion of the fans. But it's also a partnership rooted in shared values that define Galp's essence. Values such as the constant ambition to go further and the belief that together, as a team and as a community, we are stronger. We want to support the National Team on their journey to victory".
With the renewal of this partnership and to amplify the support and passion for Portuguese football, Galp aims to energise National Team supporters by offering match tickets through the Mundo Galp app.
This new agreement extends Galp and the FPF’s relationship for another six sporting seasons, building on a partnership that began 25 years ago in 1999. Over the years, this collaboration has given rise to numerous memorable campaigns in which Galp has highlighted values such as talent, perseverance, competence, solidarity, and ambition, qualities that characterise both the company and the National Team.
