Manuel Ferreira De Oliveira (1948 - 2019)

It is with deep sorrow that we received the news of the disappearing of Manuel Ferreira De Oliveira who, due to his dedication and passion to the energy industry and particularly to our company - to which he dedicated most part of his professional life -, leaves an indelible mark on all of us.

Manuel Ferreira De Oliveira was Galp's chief executive officer, having led the company in two important stages of its history, namely in the last half of the 1990s and between 2006 and 2015. This last period was especially important due to Galp’s entrance in the capital markets and the opening of new horizons in the energy sector.

Recognizing and praising his undeniable contributions to build today’s Galp, the Company gives Ferreira De Oliveira the deserved eulogy and tribute, directing the deepest condolences to the family and friends.
