Resolutions of the annual general shareholders meeting - Galp Energia, SGPS, S.A.’s (“Galp Energia”) annual general meeting convened today approved the items proposed on the agenda as follows:
Dividends payment - Under the terms of the law, shareholders are hereby notified that as deliberated today by Galp Energia, SGPS, S.A. general meeting, the final dividend relating to the financial year of 2009 will be payable as from May 20 2010, as follows:

Well tests in Tupi NE confirm high productivity - The contractor group for BM-S-11 in ultra deep water of Santos Basin, including Galp Energia, Petrobras and BG Group, informs that the Drill Stem Test (DST) in the fourth well, informally known as Tupi NE, located in Tupi’s Evaluation Plan Area, was concluded and proved a very high productivity in the carbonate pre-salt reservoirs in this area.
Galp Energia signs an agreement for exploration and production in Uruguay - Galp Energia and its consortium partners Petrobras and YPF have signed today in Montevideo, an exploration and production agreement for the Uruguayan continental platform with Acap, the national oil company of Uruguay.
Galp Energia buys 15% of Ventinveste from Martifer Renewables - Galp Energia group has bought from Martifer Renewables, an affiliate company of Martifer SGPS, 50% of the Parque Eólico Penha da Gardunha, Lda., a company that currently holds 30% of the share capital of Ventinveste, S.A. (Ventinveste).
Galp Energia and Morgan Stanley Infrastructure acquired certain of Gas Natural’s Gas distribution assets and gas supply activities in Madrid - Galp Energia and Morgan Stanley Infrastructure today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire jointly certain of the gas distribution and supply businesses in the region of Madrid from Gas Natural SDG, S.A.
Joint Venture for the natural gas liquefaction project in the pre-salt signs agreements for front end engineering development - Galp Energia and the other partners of the Joint Venture, that aims to build a Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) unit to commercialize the natural gas produced in the pre-salt layers, have signed today the contracts with the successful bidders of the tender for the development of the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) of the unit.
Sines refinery’s conversion project reaches important phase with agreement between Galp Energia and Tecnicas Reunidas - Galp Energia and Tecnicas Reunidas have signed today a Lump Sum Turn Key (LSTK) contract for the Sines refinery’s conversion project.
