On 27 August 2019, The Capital Group Companies, Inc. notified Galp that its subsidiary Capital Research and Management Company increased on 22 August 2019 its voting rights attached to Galp’s shares to 2.02%, above the 2% threshold.
The Capital Group Companies, Inc. holds a qualifying holding in Galp’s share capital of 2.30%.
