Qualifying holding of CI Investments Inc.

In accordance with articles 16 and 17 of the Portuguese Securities Code, Galp Energia hereby discloses the following information:

CI Investments Inc. (CI Investments) notified Galp Energia that, on December 9, 2015, it increased its indirect holding of Galp Energia’s share capital and corresponding voting rights from 16,407,676 to 16,693,913, above the 2% threshold, through a transaction on the Euronext Lisbon market. This holding includes 14,944,013 shares, corresponding to 1.80% of the Company’s share capital, which are managed by Black Creek Investment Management Inc. (Black Creek).

CI Investments is the investment fund manager of the funds listed below and is also the legal owner of the holdings in Galp Energia. However, regarding the 14,944,013 shares reported under Black Creek, CI Investments confers them the voting rights on such shares.
